I am a PhD student in the Cosmology research group at Lancaster University, studying Particle Cosmology with Dr. Konstantinos Dimopoulos and Prof. David Lyth. The research group is part of the Lancaster-Manchester-Sheffield Consortium for Fundamental Physics. I am funded by an STFC PhD Studentship.
My Lancaster University researchers page is here.
In addition to my research, I am also involved in outreach activities. I give a talk on Cosmology and on Supernovae to school/college students when they attend the Physics department and for several months I was a resident researcher at a local school in Lancaster for the RCUK Researchers in Residence (RinR) scheme.
Prior to commencing my PhD in October 2010, I was a Business Analyst for a software development company (Cerillion Technologies) in the Telecoms industry for 4 years.
I am married and have 1 daughter and another child that is due to be born in June.
